Highly regarded honours courses from reputed Universities might endow us with wits, knowledge, and serendipity but what drives in the long run of life has got a lot to do with picturesque experiences that are drawn from the monotonous lives that we lead. This is where I found myself drawn to the lives of the common man. As we live in an age of expression of interests, there are many primary thoughts that kick us within, forcing us to continuously be in a state of motion! This invites scientists of all branches to collaborate with engineers to take the advantage of the engineering marvels, take for example, the James web Space Telescope (JWST) that is a genius of its own kind – all of this to just facilitate the state of motion. Did you notice that this work alone required a combination of science, engineering, mathematics and to not forget the arts, which is anyway driven by business? What happens to the craft? -asked someone, to which, I replied – “It is the technical acumen that will either place you or replace you with experience in your life, no matter whether you are an employee or an employer”.
In the times where competitions can never let you rest, think of the dark matter that is still compositionally an unsolved puzzle! While the scientific comments deal with the effects of the gravity induced on the planets, stars and galaxies, dark matter continues to be a matter of surprise and it might not be holding the large celestial masses so easily, if there were no other invisible forces to drive. Such welcoming comments are based on recent observations by the revolutionary JWST. This is a vast expanse without boundaries. The money spent to build it is in the order of many, multiple billions of dollars to deal with the trillions of kilometres! If this is compared to that of a large company making billions of profits, only the employees would know the pressure valves that are fitting in and out daily, when they are around their colleagues. Driven by clients/people/customers and guided by the vision of the supreme goals of the owners, its employees that work seamlessly and without a pause. Why? – to meet the goals, thus, conforming to the state of motion.
Here’s to where I got caught by an IT employee. She asked me about the money that I get to set up my land based monitoring observatories which is none other than carrying out metres to kilometres of drilling to support my exploration work, which are mainly Earth based. I explained that it’s a huge money that is allocated to meet our requirements, of course, in industry where money is never a problem, until otherwise, you opt for an academic route and start all the motion, all over again to raise the funds that teaches you to manage costs, expenses and finally leads you to manage projects and businesses. It could be compared to a blackhole, perhaps. While I am drilling the Earth based ground realities, our fellow astronomers are all set to drill the space. Yet again, the cycle never really ends. I urge you to not consider black holes as a pool where you might get lost because all that is more of a theory but the picturesque experiences are yet to be delivered or at least, this is what I would reckon!
Recent observations have brought light to the darkness of the black hole which could be suggestive of many facts, one being that there are stars orbiting some blackholes. These stars tend to complete their revolutionary journeys much before their time. Thus, there’s more confusion, uncertainty and may be chaos in the science communities. There seems to be really a weird force lurking somewhere in our backyards cautioning about the needs more than our wants, may be to control the uncertainties. This reminds me of situations in lives of common man where the fear of being nowhere in the motion, leaves them insecure. The jobs to which they owe themselves and their families to, are completely oriented to fit into the system that is designed to boost terminologies of productivity and efficiency. This draws a hope to keep going in the state of motion even when the waves of time ripple back and forth construing stigmas.
I won’t technically explain the recession in the backyard because I believe that it could be a force lurking in the corners explaining that its time to carry out a motor directional drilling where the coring doesn’t really count unless the path is cleared to continue with the state of motion. In other words, we literally freeze some of our operations while still being in motion. I can only imagine as to what would happen if the majority of privates allow their people to enjoy privileges by letting them stay and enjoy at home with their friends and family, with a temporary no pay other than a permanent loss of pay, at such critical times till the normalcy in the market, while still being in motion. May be the banks would start marketing more to draw young people to deposit more at rates suitable for generating revenue and overall savings for a few. It might need banks to restructure their various folds of economies in some cases, where liquidity of assets pose challenges. Is it possible? Nevertheless, the supernova feeling inside of a dying star knows the best as to what it takes to bid adieu to a system that elevated it to the heights wherefrom, he wishes to fly, as high as the sky.
