The Bookworm

Hi….I AM A HUMAN, a human being and being human, please do not mistake me for a bot, lovelies!img-20190102-wa0013

When I was a child, I thought I’ll become a doctor. This is because I was reading a script in the form of a book where I was told that I will bring the highest development to my country, if I become a doctor. Then the child in me banged on to the next page. It was written that I should be a lawyer, an astronaut or a dancer. I learned Katthak for some time and realized that I can only enjoy dance in the classical level. Then the western beats were beating me too hard and I learned some good moves. Then came Bollywood teaching me some matkas and jhatkas. I was just a kid. Then I turned the page and I saw the astronaut. Gosh! I was so happy. I felt that this is it! Then I got the news of the sad demise of Kalpana Chawla and a fear settled in. I decided to overcome it and I did.

Then the pages were being turned over and I came across the drama classes where a new confidence instilled. I was never a celebrated actor since childhood but definitely the guts to compare myself to not being any less, happened. Till date, I enjoy the art of acting. However, I think I am definitely waiting for the new theatre classes yet again. Of course, coming back to the pages that were being rolled, I bookmarked the acting and modelling as I felt like there is definitely a different beauty in it.

As I was growing up, I enjoyed the nature no less and the pages following thereafter, had impressions of the beauty of the landscape. Mother Earth not just attracted but made me feel and fall in love with it. Then geology happened which made me a geologist and currently I am an explorer and of course, I keep enjoying the writing, acting, modelling side by side though I keep missing out on the availability of some resources but wherever I get the vibe, I never fail to taste it. Just to describe a bit, I explore for the lead and zinc in India. I would like to share my work with those fascinated by it and ya I have a journey pending to share with you all from the rags to the rigs! (the drill rigs I mean!).

So you might be wondering as to why am writing all this. Well…often people have asked me as to how it is possible to maintain oneself in many activities and the answer is as usual; prioritizing things as it comes along way. My love is certainly into what am doing and when I feel monotonous, I take a break from work and this break is definitely not big and this is what I would recommend most of the people who have been following the river-tributary theory. People complain about the fear of losing focus. Yes, you might but not if you read this blog!!!! Hahaha.

If you have been following one direction by Zain Mallick then just to point out, it is even a band consisting of more than one person. So you should never lose yourself and most importantly, sometimes you might be skilful in what you are doing but unless you have a team or a group with similar thoughts, you can never really excel in a project. I can proudly say that despite the fear of results being in favour or against me, I enjoy the teamwork and so would you too…The only trick to excel in life is to have a group of people with coherent feelings. This is why it is said that life is full of surprises.

Everytime you feel like going ahead, take a minute and look back too. This will boost your confidence and strengthen you to be better than before. In short, it will be more like writing an autobiography which you need not necessarily publish in the public but if you choose to do so, then just be bold and behold because life is beautiful. There is one thing I would like to share before signing out of this chit-chat, is a plain thanksgiving note to those who have been reading my blog, those who are following and to those who have loved and understood my likes and dislikes so far and to those with whom I have ever worked with and lastly, my family who have supported me at all times.

Going back to my curriculum of reading material and see you all soon!

Loads of love and luck!

Thanks for reading!
